Cristoforo is a full-stack filmmaker and motion designer who is passionate about helping communities voice and unlock underrepresented stories through inclusive processes that lead with heart, engage critical thinking, and interlink insights with an attention to craft. 

At MASS, Cristoforo leads film and media business development, cinematography, and editorial for the Americas as a Creative and Film Producer. He brings expertise in motion design, visual effects, and emergent media forms. During his time with MASS, he has successfully delivered films for partners including Stone Barns, Freedom Reads, King’s Chapel, JJ Carroll, The Eames Institute, and PATH, among others. He supports projects that span public memory and memorials, food systems sustainability, restorative justice, affordable housing, and health care. 

Beyond MASS, Cristoforo has served as an interdisciplinary creator with the White House Office of Digital Strategy during the Obama Administration, Techstars’ incubator program, Piaggio Fast Forward, and metaLAB (at) Harvard — an experimental media-making research and teaching unit. He has been a guest speaker at the Boston Public Library and Harvard’s i-Lab, collaborated on art installations for Boston’s Illuminus nighttime festival and the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, and has directed films and animations shown at the UN, French National Library, Aspen Shortsfest, and the LA Indie Film Festival.

He received his MFA in Film & Media Production from the University of Texas at Austin and his bachelors degree from Harvard University, where he received the Harvard Foundation Insignia Award for Outstanding Contributions to Intercultural & Race Relations.
