Theo’s architectural practice is informed by a sense of social responsibility and a passion for innovative design that responds to the needs and aspirations of the communities he serves. He aspires to creating equitable value across the supply chain of every design product. 

Theo is a Design Director at MASS. Over his nine-year tenure, he has made noteworthy contributions to MASS’s portfolio in education, conservation, and public memory. He contributed to the design and construction administration of the Ellen DeGeneres Campus for the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund in Rwanda and One Acre Fund Headquarters in Kenya; the design of Munini District Hospital in Rwanda; and the construction administration of Mubuga Primary School in Rwanda. Additionally, Theo provided construction training to the African Design Centre fellows who designed and built the Ruhehe Primary School in Rwanda. 

He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Rwanda’s School of Architecture and the Built Environment in Kigali, and is registered with the Rwanda Institute of Architects.
