Taylor Sinclair

Taylor Sinclair is a Senior Landscape Designer who believes we need to balance what a beautiful and just world is, and we can do this through thoughtfully and intentionally designing our environments. Taylor has worked on projects that primarily focus on memorialization, trauma-informed healing, conservation and education.

In her time at MASS, Taylor has worked on a wide array of projects out of the Boston, Kigali, and Santa Fe offices. Taylor has led the landscape design on projects such as the such as the Haven Domestic Violence Shelter, The Northern Cheyenne Healing Trail, and the Whitefish Lake First Nation #128 Neighbourhood Guidelines. 

Wanting to be proximate with the projects she works on, Taylor relocated to Rwanda from 2018-2019 to help successfully design and deliver projects such as the Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture, the Norrsken House Kigali, The Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, the African Centre of Excellence for Genomics of Infectious Diseases. 

Within the United States, Taylor has supported additional projects such as The Louise B Miller Pathways & Gardens, the Snow County Prison Japanese American Memorial, the Willamette Falls Inter-Tribal Public Access Project, and the Harris County Remembrance Park, among others.

Taylor is constantly learning what different projects, communities, and environments have to offer in order to create thoughtful and impactful designs. Taylor is a band member of the Sagkeeng First Nation (Fort Alexander) in Manitoba, Canada and has a deep passion in working with the Sustainable Natives Communities Design Lab out of the Santa Fe Office.
