Thatcher is a Senior Producer and Director of Film and Media, leading an international film team. The team focuses on producing a wide array of film projects annually, collaborating with various partners and community stakeholders. These projects are central to showcasing the impact of the built environment and the transformative power of design.

The film studio has become a dynamic platform for storytelling, capturing how architecture influences society. This includes the notable production of "Made In Ilima," the organization's first feature-length film that debuted at the New York Architecture and Design Film Festival in 2017.

In addition to film production, Thatcher is involved in speaking engagements, sharing insights and experiences at events and educational institutions. These include SXSW Eco, The Impact Building Summit, A Better World by Design Conference, Harvard, Brown, Yale and Columbia Universities, and engagements at teaching institutions internationally.

He is a faculty member of the Institute of Advanced Architecture Cataluña, where he teaches media strategy and production in the master’s program in Ecological Buildings and Biocities.
