Rylee believes housing is a fundamental human right. They believe that good design plays an integral role in making our communities healthy, inclusive, and sustainable. As a Designer at MASS, Rylee is excited to take on projects that address the need for high-quality affordable housing, particularly in high-cost regions like the Boston metropolitan area.

Since joining MASS  in 2023, Rylee has been focused on affordable senior housing in the Boston region, primarily supporting the Brooke House and El Centro projects, tackling all elements of the design and documentation of these projects, from unit layouts and interior design to facade design and detailing. 

Rylee holds a Master in Architecture from Northeastern University, where they received the AIA Medal for Academic Excellence. Their thesis, “Ephemeral Communities: Reconstituting Hotel Living at the Francis Drake Hotel,” reimagined the historic residential hotel typology for the traveling, contract, and gig workers of the 21st century.
