Winston believes that community-based design has the potential to create meaningful and sustainable spaces that reflect and serve people. He is committed to using architecture, research, and design thinking to create spaces that positively impact society. 

As an Architect, Winston has worked on projects including the Aegis Peace Institute (Rwanda), Grafanil Hospital (Angola), and Kepler College (Rwanda). More recently, on the National Heroes’ Mausoleum, he participated in designing the museum programming and collaborated with artists and historians to design an exhibition and monument that honors Rwandan heroes. 

Winston holds a Master of Science in Architecture from the North China University of Technology. His undergraduate thesis focused on Dashilar District in Beijing, a historic commercial street with a cultural heritage spanning more than 500 years, and culminated in a design proposal aimed at preserving the area's heritage, enhancing livability, and promoting diversity.
