Sylvie believes that everyone deserves to inhabit beautiful and inclusive spaces, regardless of their socio-economic background, age, or ability. 

As an architect, Sylvie has contributed to different MASS disciplines, including architectural design, landscape design, and interiors. She has supported the design development and exhibit design for the Reteti Education Center (Kenya), the design and installation of furniture at the Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture (Rwanda), and the initialization of the Moving Windmills Innovation Center project (Malawi). More recently, she contributed to the design development and construction documentation for the Grafanil Hospital. 

Beyond her work at MASS, Sylvie co-founded Rwandan Ladies in Architecture and mentors female architecture students at INES Ruhengeri. She is also an alumna of the Global Health Corps and was awarded first place in the Kigali Outdoor Public Bench Competition 2020. Notably, Sylvie designed the interior of Muganga SACCO, a savings and credit cooperative for health professionals in Rwanda.

Sylvie graduated with honors from the University of Rwanda’s School of Architecture and the Built Environment in Kigali. Her thesis project, titled "CST Energy Innovation Hub," explored the role of architecture in fostering creativity, innovation, and learning performance.
