Jean Shia has served on the Board of Directors at MASS since 2020 and was elected as Vice Chair of the Board in 2024. Jean is the Managing Director of the Autodesk Foundation, where she invests in a portfolio of 50+ ventures and organizations innovating new technologies and solutions to address climate change mitigation, adaptation and workforce development. She also leads impact management and measurement at the Foundation. Jean has more than two decades of experience working in impact investing, social ventures, finance and business operations in the US, Asia and Africa. She started her career as a Fellow in the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development working to revitalize communities across New York City.  

Jean received an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and a BS with Honors in Urban Studies from Cornell University.
